Take a Peak at the Peep[toe boot]

Take a Peak at the Peep

Ah, boots. We all love them. They come in many shapes, sizes, and styles, and keep our footsies warm while looking adorable ‘to boot’ (pardon the pun). So what’s a girl to do when she doesn’t have to deal with bitter winters, but wants to partake of sport this trend? The answer is the peep toe boot! This stylish bootie allows one to enjoy the look of a boot while offering a bit more in the way of breathing room – perfect for those who won’t be trudging through wind, sleet, and snow this winter (or who just hope to show off their pedi!).

These boots look best with a little skin exposure up top and are perfect when paired with short dresses on warmer nights or wool coats on the chillier ones. When paired with pants or leggings, however, be sure to match them to your boot color as this will make your legs look as long as those impending winter months. Also, this combination looks pretty rockin’ when you add some chunky chains with 80’s inspired tees (if you’re after the punk-yet-still-classy look for which Rihanna is notorious).

The best way to sport this look is to make sure to keep balance in mind. The height of the boot is vital to pulling off, or on, this trend – and– unlike spandex hot shorts– the shorter, the better.

The Sunly boot by Faith Shoes offers the perfect height and color; along with a bunch of adorable details which combine to make this a near perfect peep toe. Pair these with a red wool coat, and a black patent leather waist cinching for maximum style, but take warning: you may find yourself booting all the competition to the curb, to be sure!
